Markedspladsen

Løkken gets many thousands of visitors a year, with Markedspladsen (The Market Square) being the most popular area in town. In this video however catch a glimpse of it’s surrounding gems, including Anders Norres Sti which used to be known as ‘The Old School Path’.

Vejhuset

The trail around Vejhuset (the Roadhouse) takes you through two well-hidden paths: Valentinusens Sti and Erik Larsens Sti which show no less than 8 major works! Watch the video to find out more.

Tjærepladsen

This video will show you about Tjærepladsen, which translates to ‘The Tar Field’, as well as Løkken’s Rescue Centre, fishing and activities in the area. Here you’ll also find Ane Brügger’s Path – a small detour we’ve not shown here, to leave it as a surprise on your walk.

Furreby Bæk

It’s not surprising bathing plays a major role in life around Løkken. Hear about this popular activity through the ages, the iconic bathing houses, and about the artists Chr. Valentinusen and Erik Larsen. This video will take you around Furreby Bæk, and right by the “Kærlighedsstien”, is Aage Sørensen’s Sti.

Stationsbygningen

There are three playgrounds surrounding Løkkens school which are in the area featured in this video. Watch to hear about Stationsbygningen (The Station building) and Knud Holst’s Sti.

Pakhuset

In this video you’ll hear about the very beginning of Løkken! The area around Pakhuset (The Warehouse) is also covered including the local Brewery and the Poor House. Close to the square you will also find Julles Sti.

Vandtårnet

Sitting high on Løkken’s beautiful grassy dunes you’ll find the iconic Vandtårnet (The Water Tower). Experience the Water Tower from the inside in this video, and get the story of the importance of water for the area. At the foot of the Water Tower you’ll find Lars Nielsen’s Trail.

Faresignalstationen

This video talks about The Art Trail’s most secret path – Tjek Jernes Sti, as well as what translates to ‘The Danger Signal Station’, the signal mast, cannon and also the area around Molelejet.

Sømærket

Probably the area’s most well known structure Sømærket (The Sea mark) is covered in this video, and it is here you’ll find the longest route on the trip which includes the Asger Jorns Trail. Also hear about the importance of the Seamarks for the entire West Coast.
